Can we as citizens really make a difference? The answer is NO. Unfortunately, in situations such as in the present case when the POLITICAL WILL does not follow that of its citizens!!! 

It's a shame

What a shame that the municipality will allow the promoter to destroy the golf course in order to built anywhere between 250 to 300 doors (residence).  The 2030 Mission, Vision and value of the Municipality was not even taken into consideration and let's say out the door.   Let's built condos and homes onto a 100 years Golf course and get more taxes like the municipality really needs it.   

"In 2030, Mont-Tremblant pursues its development with the same desire to preserve and enhance its nature and its natural characteristics". 

The promoter could have built around it like they (HE) did at le Maître but ...  $$$$$

Thank you very much for your update . I am sorry to hear the latest info . Maybe they won't designate a heritage area but perhaps they will regret their decision following the next municipality vote. Thank you for your efforts. Alan Dean

il n'est pas question, sans rien d'autre à dire, de démolir cette pièce de notre Histoire pour quelques pauvres dollars. non. point.
