Contre l'interdiction des chiens dans la forêt Boucher

Residents should realize that the future protection of la forêt Boucher will be placed in jeopardy by driving out such a large user base.  If there are very few people who use the forest, who will be its defending voice?  This is my major concern.

Compare the forest integrity (e.g.: litter, damage to trees, vandalism, open fires, etc.) of the smaller path used by dog owners and the larger path which is less frequented.  The smaller path is clean and shows very little signs of the hundreds of people who use it weekly, while the larger path shows evidence of fires, destruction of trees, erected structures, lots of broken glass, and other remnants of parties.  By having a large number of respectful users, the forest is healthier, safer for others, and less likely to be a place for bored teenagers.

Issues between land user groups should be dealt with via compromise or, if this is not possible, prioritizing user groups based on membership and sustainability of practices.  The dog owners are not a problem but a benefit to the forest.
